Bohemian Highway Merlot 2004 feature a funky label with pop art palm trees, stars, and waves breaking on a beach. That’s appropriate, because it’s the kind of wine that would seem to go well with a beach party that lasts long into the evening. Its nose has ripe berry, smoke, and spice, and these carry into the flavor as well. Raspberry and cherry notes predominate, with some smoky oak notes in the finish. The tannins are very soft, and the wine borders on sweetness. This is a wine that will be accessible to many - even those who lean toward sweeter beverages shouldn’t crinkle up their noses at this Merlot. With Bohemian Highway Merlot’s combination of accessibility and low price, it is a good choice for parties populated more by wine gulpers rather than wine tasters.
We’ve had bad luck with winery websites lately, and Bohemian Highway was no exception - the website printed on the bottle went to a cheesy parked domain. Do the marketing guys ever check on the availability of the domain before the start slapping labels on bottles? We found a bit of other web commentary on the brand, though. Robert and Marjorie of Wine-O-Rama really liked Bohemian Highway Merlot, commenting “Heady strawberry Twizzlers on the nose. Uber bing cherry on the palate, joined by some raspberry and a slight hint of baking spices. A soft vanilla finish lasts awhile.”
This wine grew on us as time passed - some air toned down the sweetness and added a bit of complexity.

We discovered your fabulous wine this summer while on vacation in a very tiny Northern Minnesota town (Longville,MN.) We bought your Cabernet based only on the beautiful label! (love, love, love the colors) How woderful it was that the wine itself matched the bottle, it was BEAUTIFUL! Thank you so much for sharing your creation with the world or at least the small towns of Minnesota

I recently stayed at Yosemite, and before we reached Yosemite I stopped in the little market to buy some groceries, I saw the Bottle of Wine (Very Nice Label)
I LOVED IT!!!! Excellent Wine. I am curious to know, Do you ship bottles to different states. I live in Ohio and I can’t find this here anywhere. I would love to have you contact me so I could order with you.
Thank you so much, and again GREAT WINE!!!!

The taste is superior with the smokey finish. Please get rid of that cheesy lable. It is horrible and does not reflect the quality on the inside.

I stumbled across you wine quite by accident. I was intriqued by the name and label. After trying your wine. I fell in love!! I love both the Merlot and the Chardonnay. They are so smooth tasting!!

My wife and I happened upon your wine at Cannova’s Restuarant in Gelena, Illinois. The name attracted me first. Since it was a “no name” brand I became suspect to why a small well known restuarant would put a bad bottle of wine on their wine list and tarnish their reputation, and I was right. I first asked the waitress her opinion and she was positive about its quality so I gave it a chance. The price was right and the taste was great! And what legs it has! I must say, I was impressed.
I have made it my lifes ambision to find good quality wines a low prices and I ocasionally stumble upon a good glass. Being of Italian decent and of a family of wine makers including my wine making ambisons for over 25 years, I have had somewhat of a backround in wines.
Now I must find where I can buy the wine in the Chicago area.
Thank you for contributing to the culture of wine making in our wonderful country. I wish your company success. You well deserve it for your hard work and dedication.
You can publish this article including my name any time you would like.
